Terms of service
Effective 23 September 2026
These terms cover hanai.dev, our project brief form and our client portal. hanai operates from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. Contact us at jession@hanai.dev.
Using the site
Use the site to learn about our work, discuss a potential project and manage your own requests. Provide accurate contact details and only submit a request on behalf of a business if you have authority to do so.
Starting a project
Submitting a brief starts a conversation. It does not confirm an order, reserve a delivery date or create an obligation to pay. We review the request and agree on scope, price, schedule and responsibilities before paid work begins.
A separate project agreement sets the delivery and acceptance criteria, source-code ownership, third-party licences, hosting, support, confidentiality and any security or compliance obligations. That agreement governs the project if its terms differ from this page.
Delivery in days applies to agreed scopes with the required access, data and decisions available. Integrations, migration, procurement and formal reviews can affect timing. Website descriptions do not promise every system, certification or regulatory approval on the same schedule.
Your materials and access
You retain your rights in the briefs, files and other materials you provide. Share only material you are entitled to use and disclose. You give us permission to use it as needed to review your request, communicate with you and perform agreed work. Uploading it does not give us permission to publish it as marketing.
Keep sign-in links and account access private. Tell us promptly if you suspect someone else has access to your account. Do not upload passwords, access tokens or production credentials in a project brief.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site for unlawful activity, impersonation, unsolicited messages, malicious files or attempts to access another person’s information. Do not interfere with the service or bypass its access controls. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse or meet a legal obligation.
Privacy and previews
Our privacy notice explains storage, retention, service providers and how to request deletion. Uploaded client files require authorization. Images included in preview emails use public, unguessable addresses so email clients can display them; anyone with the address can view those images. Keep sensitive information out of preview screenshots.
Optional browser preferences are a separate choice in Cookie settings. Using the site or accepting project terms does not enable optional storage.
Site content and external services
hanai’s site content and brand assets, and any identified third-party materials, remain subject to their owners’ rights. You may share links to our public pages. Ask before reproducing our artwork or presenting it as your own.
External links and preview services have their own terms. Review those terms before supplying information or relying on the service.
Availability, changes and questions
We maintain the site, but access may be interrupted for maintenance or events outside our control. Project service levels and remedies belong in the project agreement. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
We may update these website terms and will show the effective date here. Changes to an agreed project require the process in that project’s agreement. If you have a concern, email jession@hanai.dev so we can address it.
